Other than stress she's good. She does have eggos, I won't eat them. The dinner turned out great One upside to this is we did try a new pizza place nearby, good stuff so I have an alternative she likes as much as Papa Johns just to change things up.
Customarily , an egg omelette made in the oven is a "torte" or as the Spanish call it, a "tortilla". Frittatas, derived from the Italian word for for fry, are made on the stovetop (and not folded). This morning's breakfast: Red bells, spring onions, mushrooms, chorizo, cheddar. Tasty.
Okay, so before the peppers get too old tonight is finally sausage/peppers/onion and some new spuds. While doing that I'll prep the meat portion of the lasagna for tomorrow. I keep forgetting I don't have to do lasagna on a weekend day as it's not like I'm going to the office anyway Pecan pies will happen some morning when I can't stand getting on here or watching tv.
Lasagna night before last - Her birthday cake from last week (sadly it is no longer with us). Triple layer chocolate, chocolate icing with salted caramel in between each layer and as you can see drizzled on top. Made all of it fresh - The requested B'Day dinner - Upside is I've still got enough of everything but the spuds to do another one.
I made some on the weekend with a pork shoulder. Have about 2-3 bowls left. My favourite homemade soup (2nd is leek and potato). I usually save the bones and stuff from my smokings in the summer to toss into the soups, but didn't have any this time so it's not as good as normal.
A can of Pringles. Kroger didn't have any latex gloves, though, and I ain't going to Walmart. Any suggestions?
Potroast, taters, corn, and green beans. Eff you if the presentation does not meet your standards. Shit was good.
Found out my wife has been documenting our quarantine cooking fun. https://www.facebook.com/LisaStellerPettit/media_set?set=a.10156769352781432&type=3
