I'm going to Barber's on this Sunday. I have never been, how are there facility’s, camping and stuff like that. Anything to be concerned about on the track anything to watch out for. I'm not racing this summer still getting things on the bike slowly, hope to do a few races next year.
1. Camping is fine...lots of space, nice showers in the paddock. 2. Nothing to watch out for on the track...it's a blast. 3. It's "Barber" not "Barber's." (for Scotty) Have fun!
facilities are great, camping kinda sucks from what i hear. (I think that's mostly about lack of restrooms at the campsite) You need to be concerned about not wrecking in the blind turns while you learn the track. Oh, and watch out for the decreasing radius right in front of pit in!
Brian usually posts a "gates open at" thread over on the NESBA board before an event but I haven't checked. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you some info.
barber is fun but be careful the first session or so... the best thing is to tag along w/ someone who knows the track well so they can show you the lines and if you have the chance walk the track, it's amazing the amount of elevation change.
depends on what kind of camping, if your staying in a trailer in the paddock, it rocks but if your pitching a tent, it doesn't look as good (they don't let you put up a tent in the paddock, I don't think) the track rocks! Definitely my favorite track
Its all about the reach and frequency DDT! Reach and Frequency! So what's with the T2 name? Just a huge fan of arnold?
I'll be over there on Sunday also. Depending on where you are coming from don't forget that NASCAR is at Talladega this weekend. So traffic on I-20 from ATL to Leeds will probably be somewhat f*cked up. -steve
