SV650 Engine number look-up

Anyone have access to look-up an engine number for me so I can double-check the year? Pretty sure it's an '03 motor but want to make sure. Number is P507-110xxx, will give rest of number in PM if needed.

 

It's stamped on the bottom/underside of the block, it's the 3rd digit in the code. There are 3 numbers stamped, 2 are 4 digit #'s and match each other (they identify the 2 case halves to each other), the 3rd is a longer number.

The P507 number won't tell you anything.

 

So this is a 2004 motor.

 

Nope, no numbers stamped on bottom of this motor... Anyone else?

 

Interesting - I've never seen a motor without them.

 

Because it's a cheater endurance motor
