Just bought an sv to race and it doesn't have a tach so I am wanting to get one and was wondering what brand I should get??

The Stack tach is pretty trick. I never thought a shift light was necessary, but I really do like it.

    Re: SV Tach

I went with the superlightweight option of NO tach. I had the stock dash for a bit, but never used it. The SV has a pretty flat torque curve, so short shifting doesn't usually hurt too much, just get used to the sound before the limiter kicks in, or you will get passed.

I have a yamaha tach that I use on my SV. I think it is off a radian or a maxim. It has a white face, and a chrome bezel ring. I can send you pictures if you want to see it. It works great, and was like $15 bucks off Ebay.

Email me at [email protected] if you want the pictures
