Just bought an sv to race and it doesn't have a tach so I am wanting to get one and was wondering what brand I should get??
The Stack tach is pretty trick. I never thought a shift light was necessary, but I really do like it.
Re: SV Tach I went with the superlightweight option of NO tach. I had the stock dash for a bit, but never used it. The SV has a pretty flat torque curve, so short shifting doesn't usually hurt too much, just get used to the sound before the limiter kicks in, or you will get passed. Rob CamCool Racing
I have a yamaha tach that I use on my SV. I think it is off a radian or a maxim. It has a white face, and a chrome bezel ring. I can send you pictures if you want to see it. It works great, and was like $15 bucks off Ebay. Email me at [email protected] if you want the pictures Rod Mahr www.followthehelmet.com
