Anyone using a non-Suzuki service manual for their SV650? Clymer and Haynes both have them, and they're less than half the cost of the factory one. I've got a Haynes manual for my Duc and it's great. Just wondering whether anyone has a favorite that they use.

That sure is one clean SV, Jay. But I'm a complete moron when it comes to wrenching (I racey, no wrenchy), so I need all the help I can get...and I don't want to get my PC all greasy, so what am I gonna do with a downloaded manual??? (it'll cost $50 just to print the thing out:( ). 'Sides, I need all the help I can get.

So just print out the parts you need for doing the job. That's what we do with aircraft maintenance manuals. You think the SV manual is big?

Aftermarket manuals are not to be trusted. I have seen some grossly innacurate, and worse, subtly inaccurate, figures and proceedures in them.
