I kind of thought the same thing on the more "normal" bikes. Heck $1,000 for a box of blown up RGV250 motor? I have a running 250 motor that must be worth $3,000 then! (anyone...... anyone.......) I have no idea about the race bike stuff though, I guess you are paying for a story. Maybe the difference between collector and rider.

The kws motor hell yes but the chassis is the ugliest thing I've ever seen...

Yes I know it qualified but it also qualified for an abortion...

 

With a lot of this stuff, there are few/no comps, so the value is what someone is willing to pay.
The prices are clearly 'I like my stuff and don't have to sell any of it, but, if you're willing to pay, I'm willing to part with it'.

Love the description of that Gama Motor...LOL....... I wish that were a real Yosh TLR ... I would have it scooped up for sure...

 

Great site, but damn, they desperately need a copywriter. Spelling errors abound, and some sentence structures could really use some work. I still get everything they're saying, but it hurts sometimes to read.
