I crashed over the race weekend and my subframe is bent. I have one of those R&R Aluminum ones. The pros in the pit tell me to get a blow torch and heat it up, put a pipe in there and straiten it out real slow.

I would like to know if anybody has done this before and can offer any suggestions. Or i am just crazy

    oh its a 2002 F4I

You can use a blow torch or a heat gun, just make sure to get the aluminum nice and warm, but not too hot. Make sure that you have the bike secured, or you will end up pushing it around the garage without straightening anything.
