Well, yeah that's ok and all but where I found this story is what was supprising..On Yahoo news. Kinda neat to see Motogp news reported on somewhat "mainstream" media.. http://news.yahoo.com/stoner-tells-rival-rossi-step-rivalry-181248219--spt.html
what a stooooopid thing to say.... "Come on Ducati, mount a challenge!" NO..... REALLY!?! The teams out there are in it to smell the roses and make friends?! Its kind of low of Casey to goad on a competitor like that... I dont remember Rossi making fun of Ducs when they were having major issues and saying "step up". I guess its easy when you're on a well developed bike that Honda has thrown gobs of money at and you know will be competitive next year. Again, shows that Stoner is an amazing rider but a real piece of work as a human being.
Smack talk is older than either Casey or Rossi.... this is nothing new... I actually wish there were more of it going on in motoGP... kinda boring without it. He should compare Rossi to kosinski and talk about how he fell apart like a cheap watch or something like that...LOL
Not sure where the smack is. He's calling out for a competiyive Ducati for the sake of an interesting championship. The horror... Speaking of horror ...or just real shame for a gorgeous dame, Adrianna is about to give birth.
So you have conveniently forgotten Rossi saying that Stoner was "just not trying hard enough" on the Duc? Its so hard watching a god fall from grace.....
Clearly, you must be talking about your own post because⦠That's not even close to what he's saying in the article. He saying that the championship needs variety at the top. Obviously, he understands the business. You need to get your memory checked.
Mladin would've just sent him a postcard from Australia on his fishing boat relaxing and in the bottom corner card put a little picture of himself on the top step w/ his ducati gear on. Only he and Rossi would've known it was going on, but with the world to witness the outcome once they suited up.
LMFAO Which Matt Mladin are you talking about? The subtle, soft spoken one or the assholic verbal bitchslapper who raced in the AMA?
Typical sensationalism in the Yahoo article. In the full interview, he doesn't even mention Rossi at any point. Just that he hopes Ducati can improve the bike for the series' sake.
boohoo. I'm a Rossi fan (and a Stoner fan) and I enjoyed this article. He's right, the championship does need Rossi back at the front.
Rossi was able to win a MotoGP race (with 3 podiums in between) on a freshly healed broken leg on the Yammie. Healthy on the Duc he could barely made 1 podium all year. And Rossi said the 2012 bikes are much different than the 800's. I don't see his situation changing
Stoner is telling it as it is, just as every other Aussie has done. I've always liked what the Aussies bring to the table.
