    Greetings everyone.

As many of you know, we're just days away from the Steel City Superbike Challenge and 3 days of fun ahead of us.

    Weekend Schedule:

    Friday - Track Day/Racer Practice
    Saturday - Endurance Race
Sunday - WERA National Challenge Series

The Friday will be run like a normal track day where most of you will be riding in our Advanced group. Riders with "current" expert level race licenses will be immediately placed in our Advanced group or require eval/sign-off from one of our staff, Aaron, Scott or myself. We want to keep it safe + fun for everyone. We run 3 rotations, 20 minutes each, Advanced, Intermediate, Novice. We start at 9a, break for lunch from noon-1p, then ride until 5p. For those of you that have not been to PittRace before, you're in for a treat. This track is simply awesome. Huge elevation changes, corkscrew, gravity cavity, blind hills... you get the idea.

    Friday's Schedule:

    7:00 - 8:00a Tech + Registration

    8:15 Rider's Meeting

    9:00a - Noon Morning Sessions (A, I, N - 20 minutes each)

    Noon - 1:00p Lunch

    1:00 - 5:0p Afternoon Sessions

For those of you entering the endurance race using only one bike with several riders, please see us at the registration desk. A few of us will be there to get you registered and you will not be charged for all riders. Ask the staff handling the endurance event.

We WILL be available on Friday handle late registrations for this event. If you have not registered and plan on doing so, please login to http://n2racing.org and enter your team information to speed this process along.

IF you are new to racing and would like to enter the WERA Race Licensing School, you may sign-up for this school for an additional $100 (track day, not included).

    Any questions: email [email protected]

    Saturday's Schedule:

    7:00 - 9:00a Tech and registration

    7:00 - 9:30a Tech

    9:30 - 11:00a Race practice (all groups)

    11:00 - 12:00 Lunch

    11:45 Riders meeting

    12:30 - 4:30p Endurance race

    5:00p Trophies

Thanks for Aaron and Twisted Speed Racing, we have som BAD A$$ trophies and cash payouts to give away. To the top three finishes in each class (HW, MW, LW), we'll pay $1500 (1st), $1050 (2nd) and $750 (3rd) respectively. Help us make this a great success. This is our first time running an event like this with WERA and we'd like to do more in 2017.

Sunday's Schedule has been posted by WERA.

    Thank You!

    Rob C.

I'm assuming the Saturday practice from 9:30-11 is going to be "open track" for all 3 groups so we can pit in/out as we please?

The gates are open all night at PittRace.
In general the track has to wait until at least 5pm to let us in since other groups have the track rented until then.
They did at the last N2 event make us wait until I think 6pm so the other event has completely departed the paddock.
Their rules on that not ours.

    Ride safe,
    AAron

Seems to be no gate fee for this one...

If it's is like a normal N2 track day, they will cover the gate fee.

Either way PIRC won't be collecting them. Nothing to really cover. It's always an issue there since riders lie and say they're going to the kart track or whatever. Part of why it's hard to pay the bills.
