Special thanks to the Lucas Oil guys for helping me replacement my blown motor!!!!!

On Friday practice, I blew my motor on the second session of the day. After a few hours of trying to diagnose what the problem was I headed back to my pits deflated, thinking I was going to let the points lead slip away from me due to a mechanical problem.

As I was walking, Brent from Lucas Oil could see the look on my face and pledged to help me put my backup motor in time for the races on Sunday.

So I drove home to Ventura, picked up my spare motor and drove straight back to the track. Those guys helped me put it in until 1 in the morning! I even managed to get some good practice in on Saturday afternoon!


I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude for their commitment to help a fellow racer/friend get back on the track. I think it is so awesome how our racing community looks after each other.

In addition, I think that the Lucas Oil presence is so awesome for our sport and I think that we should support the companies that support racing!
