Y'all point out how crazy he is, but he's never actually harmed anyone that I'm aware of...

He's definitely eccentric, but he makes some really good points.

Honestly, he's probably safer for appearing to be a little bit nutty - who's gonna screw with that dude? Makes it widely, publicly, known that he has lots of guns and knows how to use them, and he "appears" to have a small screw loose, while also appearing highly intelligent...

 

The point is, the vast majority of people won't take him seriously. We can appreciate his viewpoints as much as we like, being a bit bent ourselves.

But normal people won't, for the most part.
