I am not a fan of her music but I sure like to be flexible like she is in her video. :up: It's obvious she puts great effort to look like she does. Kudos to her.

She's hardly manufactured pop culture. Maybe here in the USA she is, but she's been making records in Mexico since she was 16, and most of her really good material was during those days before anyone here in the USA knew who she was.

I hated the lip sync crap on that show too, but I've seen her a couple times in concert and I've never seen her lip sync there.

Oh.. and right there with you on King's X. Gretchen Goes to Nebraska is one of my favorite albums of all time. I've not so secretly coveted Ty Tabor's guitar tone for 20 years.

 

I have no knowledge of her previous activities or efforts. I only know what I have seen recently in the US.

I'd be willing to give some of her pre-US efforts a listen.

 

Speaking of King's X, have you heard XV? Maybe their best CD since Dogman. Really great effort.

 

Ty's Rock Garden CD still has my attention. Haven't picked up XV yet.

 

I don't know, but I think Venom51 has all the characteristics of a crazed rejected shakira super fan. She wouldn't sign your chest?
