That's not going to happen, it says so in the release.

    Stick them on WSBK Pirellis.

This is a major game changer. At this time there is no other tire like a motogp Bridgestone tire. Chassis are made to handle the grip. Trying to explain to someone just how different a motogp tire is, is harder than convincing somebody you just saw Bigfoot.

Bigfeet? See they often and they post on the BBS. Mongo, Huey, all those tall freaks.

I think Mongo is a Bumble, his mane is kind of white.

    Bumbles like pie.

This will definitely affect things and probably not for the better in the short term.

    Why would there be?

The sky is not falling, there will be tires for MotoGP bikes by 2016.

the issue is that they've created bikes around the tires and have for a number of years now. A tire change may lead to drastic changes in the dynamics of the bike, and who knows it may be for the better.

This is a huge deal....who gets the deal and the product they produce for the series will determine everything from rider success to bike development..

Teams with the biggest budget and best testing plan will be ahead of the game. Look for Honda to increase their lead.

And that has never happened before? Big business is never static.

Unless the tire company throws them for a loop by changing up the tires for the next season.
'stone could knock Honda down for the 10 count by building a tire that works for the Ducati.

I'm curious to see if the new tire will reduce the amount that MM wins by. It seems right now, MM is the only person willing to throw himself into the "this tire WILL stick no matter what - mode". And he knows how to do it over and over again. His style and mentality is what seems to have gelled very well with the unreal performance of the tires. I don't see a new tire manf catching up to the performance of the Bridgestone right away.

Isn't testing limited? So there isn't much advantage to be gained.
