Hey all- I just picked up a bike with a super bike tail- first one I’ve ever had. What do you guys like for foam/pad? Any preference for the glue? How thick is ideal- might be doing endurance on it.
https://htmoto.americommerce.com I like the full sensation (thinnest one) for sprint races. I would not recommend it for an endurance race though; awfully hard for an extended period of time. They offer 3 thickness.
Mine is from Race Seats. They make several shapes and thicknesses and they attach with Velcro. I sourced mine from HSBK Racing.
I use this one from Amazon (cut to shape): https://www.amazon.com/MOTO4U-Unive...keywords=race+seat+foam&qid=1575990480&sr=8-1 I like the HT Moto one as well though, they're very tough.
I use Woodcraft. No glue, its adhesive backed, just peel it off and stick. https://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/products/bodywork/seat-pads
I use Airtech seat foam, they offer different thicknesses. Most of my bikes are singles so I use the thicker seats to absorb the vibration. Also the thicker foam gives you some depth to shape the seat if you want to add some slope to it. https://www.airtech-streamlining.com/miscpages/foam.htm
