Singing - very good. 45 stuck to script and that was fine, but boring. Even the crowd at times seemed bored. Maybe the rain dampened the event and people's moods.

 

This really is a good time to stop and take a moment of pause to think just how far into Clown World this country has sunk. Could you have imagined, even 10 years ago, that nonsensical bullshit like this would be the order of the day.....on our Independence Day no less?

 

I really don’t think it’s that bad. It’s just that this super minority gets tons of attention by the MSM because both sides eat it up and it gets great ratings.

It reminds me of the old supermarket tabloids my grandpa used to buy. They were mostly UK based and would spend an inordinate amount of time on gossip about the royal family. Fast forward 30 years, and now that’s where we are as a nation. It’s nothing but empty fluff. Not one of those whinebags produces anything or has any real influence, and all they’re doing is driving everyone who’s even remotely moderate further right. If anything, I’m afraid they’ll push things too far and we’ll end up with a far right dictatorship.

Though be careful on how completely you ignore a crazy minority. While I doubt it is occurring here and now that is how most revolutions occur. Look into our own, or Nazi Germany or even Venezuela. If the minority can achieve critical mass and then disarm the masses they can then go onto enforce their world view. In our case I would judge it a massive blessing to the world. But there has also been communist and socialism efforts that were a curse brought by a minority. Another excellent example is Iran, the Shah sucked but the fix was worse and destroyed an educated and prosperous country.
