I know this has been covered before, but do I have to safety wire all the hose clamps? They are fluid carrying lines, are the clamps good enough??

    a) The following item must be safety wired, or secured in a manner approved by Tech:

    ...

    b) Fuel lines and any other fluid carrying lines must be clamped or secured by some other appropriate means.

I don't know if the verbiage in the rulebook means they have to be wired or not, but I haven't had safety wire on any screw clamp on any of the coolant or fuel lines on my race bike since I started racing in 1997 and it's passed tech every time.

Or should I say, used to pass tech. :D

The key words in the rule book are "clamped or secured by some other appropriate means." If there are hose clamps there already, there is no need to safety wire them too. One or the other is required, not both.
