I have a 1995 class C rv built on a Ford E 350 chassis. It has some ugly blue, plush fabric captains chairs in it that are not very comfortable for long days of driving. What can I replace them with that won't break the bank but are comfortable for the driver and the passenger? They don't need to swivel and they can't recline very far. I see all kinds of "racing" seats that look good, but are they really comfortable? Help me out here!!!
That said, I’ve yet to find any seat that’s comfortable after more than 10-12 hours behind the wheel. Said discomfort makes cannonballing across country a little bit easier, you know, not needing the meth, and shit
I haven’t done more than about 4 hrs in my E350 stock seats but they didn’t make me want to lay on a bed of nails. And they’re so damn common they are inexpensive.
Not sure of cost but can you take the original seats, or the van, to a custom upholsterer and see what they can do?
Not sure what the size of you bank is, but there are these......https://shop4seats.com/rv-furniture/rv-captain-chairs/captain-chairs.html
