nothing like nonsense viewed on the internet to spawn more nonsense.. "read it on the intenet..must be true!". Need to do a bit more "reading". The people that posted such are very misinformed. You can get clutch slip with ANY oil, non synth-semi-full, if it has energy conserving on the label.
Where are the coupons to get this stuff cheaper? It's gone up to $25 a gallon at autozone in my area.
will this oil cause any problems in my old cbr f2? I have been using motul 5100 for years? As you know its pricey:wow:
I found rotella T at wally world that was 5-30? also running mobil m1-108 filters which is a little more convenient and filters better. calsci
That's interesting to see that they're making a 5-30w now. I think since the cat was let out of the bag a few years ago that Rotella will not cause your non-diesel to blow up and is actually one of the best oils for most engines, demand has gone way up and Shell wants to capitalize by making different viscosities. Expect the price to keep climbing as a result.
Correct! It does show a 10w-30 synth blend though. Guess what I'm putting in moms' car at the next oil change. http://www.shell.com/home/Framework...FC3=/rotella-en/html/iwgen/oem_spec_home.html
They experienced clutch slip themselves and switched from the Rotella T Syn. to another unspecified oil. How is that "misinformed?" Sounds like a direct experience to me.
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...estion=&actionSrc=Form&searchTerm=rotella+oil advanced has a ton of online coupons you can redeem at checkout. Google is your friend. Bought a $109 72 month battery for $42 otd with some.
dont see the benefit.. a rotella gallon is 25USD = 1200 pesos a Repsol race 4t 10w-50 the super hi end stuff is 1400 pesos, line 7 dolars more and its 4 liters (a bit more than one gallon)
