Horrible accident and a tragic loss to the aviation community. There is video from the terminal that caught it. I would highly recommend not watching it. I unknowingly stumbled onto it and wished I hadn’t.
He was the fighter wing commander when I was at Oceana. Though I never dealt with him personally, those who did spoke highly of him. RIP
