RIP...Rod Gilbert

He was (and still is) the all time goal and overall scorer for the NY Rangers.

You and I and probably one other person here knows who he was. A legend is what he was in my book.

 

Old fart here who remembers him. When I use to watch... (It's been a while!)

 

He used to give that division absolute fits as there was no way to stop him (just ask the Bruins).

 

think I have his autograph somewhere from when he and other NHLers handed out awards at tykes league affair back in the 60s

One of the greats who will forever be a Rangers legend. The only stat missing is a Cup win.

 

Well eff me.

Older than I thought (b 1941), was sure he popped in the 70s.
