    Hello!

My bike always had the problem: riding a little wide out of corners.
    GSX-R 600 k5, stock suspension.

As a try, we installed a shim rising the rear. 4 mm shim was used.
After a 10 lap race (with practice and qualify) lookint ag my front tire, I forund excessive wear. (Tires show no tearing!) Supercorsa Pro SC2 front and rear. Front has visible shoulder after about 70-75 laps (it was a take off). I had a SC1 front looking like the same with 140 laps.

Questoin is. Was the 4mm shim too much rising the rear? Can this cause the excessive front wear? Maybe I overloaded the front.... Any suggestions to correct this.

Front fork is 8mm below the triple.

Which way should I go now? Raising the front or, lowering the rear a little?

    Thanks! (sorry for bad english!)

I'd lower the rear a little. A good aftermarket shock would help you a lot.
    Just my opinion.
