    The Mystery School
    ???????
    by Rich Oliver.

First Schools: September 26th thru the 30th
    October 24th thru the 28th
    November 21st thru the 25th

    Information:

What is the school all about? It's a high intensity training regiment
designed by Rich Oliver and his personal trainer Sean Edin.

How long is it? It takes 5 full days to complete.

Where is it located? The school takes place at the Oliver 10 acre
property in Auberry, CA. We also go into Fresno, CA. and use other cool
    facilities around town.

What do you do? You get to do everything Rich does in his training
program, lot's of motocross and dirt track riding, and a variety of other
secret activities and exercises done in secret ways that are going to stay
secret until you take the school! Many are simple to duplicate on your own
when you Graduate and start training at home on your own.

Is it fun, or is it just hard? It's both; you will definitely have lots
of fun, but at the same time challenge yourself to really perform at your
best, and go way beyond your current level. You are always learning a new
training skill, and that means you will really learn about yourself and your
own personal determination, dedication, and pain threshold!

Do you have to work out this much all the time? No, but in order for Rich
and Sean to teach you all the different training routines, it takes the 5 day
period. When you're done with the school, you use the techniques at your own
    personal pace.

When are the schools held? One a month in September, October, November,
December, and in January of 2003. We are flexible on the dates, and can
usually coordinate a week that works for all 4 students that particular
school month. You have to talk with Rich to work it out, and he will make it
happen with everyone involved if at all possible.

How much does it cost? The fee is $1,750 total, and there is a $500
dollar deposit required to reserve your spot.

Why is it so expensive? Because for each school, there are only 4
students allowed, so you receive lots of personal attention from Rich and
Sean. And don't forget we provide the bikes, and they get crashed a lot at
first! Hey, bars and levers aren't cheep!

What about the bikes? We use Yamaha YZ 80's for motocross, and before you
laugh, you have got to try to ride one fast! They take a high level of
concentration along with lots of clutch slipping and rpm management. Turns
out Rich can lap the average guy on a 250 motocrosser in just a few laps on
his YZ 80. We also have a small fleet of XR100 Hondas, set up for dirt track
to teach you how to slide. They have special tires and 120cc motors. All
bikes, fuel, tires, and parts are supplied by the school. We do allow you to
bring your favorite training bikes along, but Rich is still going to make you
    ride the YZ 80!

What are the tracks like? We have 1 long motocross track; it's a natural
terrain track without big jumps. It takes about a minute and a half to
complete a lap. The dirt track is watered and prepped with a tractor and
other equipment, and has a TT configuration, small oval, large oval, and can
be run in any direction, independently of the motocross track. These tracks
are 2nd and 3rd gear on the 100's. Rich will make you water the track!

What do I need to bring with me? Bring your riding gear, extra lenses for
your goggles, road race boots, steel shoe, earplugs, gym and running work out
clothes, running shoes, cross training shoes, extra gloves, and any special
vitamins or training food you normally eat. Don't forget your aspirin!

Do I really need a steel shoe? Yes, we recommend you contact Ken Maely, at
8580 Bedford MTWY, Corona, CA. 909-277-8989 and tell him you need a Steel
shoe for the school, he will know what to make you. It will last you the
rest of your life! Use a Road racing boot for the shoe if you can, they work
best for flexibility and feel of the rear brake. We have a few to loan out,
    but they go fast.

Where should I stay? Book a motel in Fresno, when you send in your
deposit we will send you a list of motels to call and a confirmation receipt
for your $500 deposit. You can also stay up here at the property in your own
motor home if you want to. There is water and power available for your use.

Will it kill me? No, but we will push you, and it is a good idea to do
some training on you own before you get here. The property is located at
2300' elevation, so the air is a bit thinner and being in good aerobic shape
will certainly help you get the most for your money. Besides, we have you
    sign a release!

Ok, I'm ready, what do I do next? You need to contact Rich Oliver at the
numbers below, and confirm with him the availability the school week you
desire. He is best contacted by e mail, because he is deathly afraid of cell
phones, so he continues to be weird and only has a "regular" phone at home!
You can leave a message there for him too!
