Very cool. I was wanting to go that route a few years ago but with an RGV250 chassis I had my eye on. Once I talked with Rick Lance about the RG motor I realized it was out of my price range

    Hello:)

Very very nice bike:bow:I have a orginal RS250 Aprilia.
Whas it hard to bend in the RG500 engine in the frame?

Fitting the engine was the easiest part to be honest. once everything was lined up all that was needed was a cut out for the rear carbs apart from that just brackets and new cradle, The things that took the time were things like making the seat, i just coulldnt find one suitable so i grafted parts from 2 old seats i had then made a mold from that and the result you can see. considering this was the biggest thing id made in fibreglass i was pleased as considering there are two pipes under it it is still quite narrow and fits the shape of the bike very well. I had seen another bike built that must of had loads of problems as it ended up with side radiators like an aprillia rsv but mine uses a rad in the normal position infact a big 3 core job so just proves one can be fitted i also have a small rad in the vee of the fairing just to help cooling

I see that you have played this game before.....

I'm currently doing something similar with an RGV250 frame. I am not quite as far along though.

    Cheers

    Stupid ass Harley based custom.....

Full build from the frame up, lots of billet, chrome, etc.....

I wish I would have dumped it into a 2 stroke build like this.

PM me or call me about the costs...
