Damn man, cut me some slack. I am going thru a crisis here! But aren't most resumes just fiction with enough truth in them to pass a cursory sniff check?
You would not believe how elastic some people think the truth is. It has gotten to the point I place very little value on the resume or the application when selecting candidates.
I know. I inadvertently came across the resume that a former very mediocre field guy of mine used for an internal promotion. I literally cracked up laughing. The resume definitely did not accurately reflect his skills, ability or potential.
While you are at it, write one for me. Running the company, not too bad. the hands on that I do, well... Starting to feel the age in the bones some days
