Renting a bike before biting the bullet....

So a current post got me to thinking.... Why buy a bike and see if you like the bike, the class, racing in general... If I had the opportunity to rent a bike when I started road racing, I would have done it. I probably would have built a different brand bike also.... Anywho, a buddy has started renting a wide range of bikes race prepped. No, he isn't a sponsor, no I have not ridden his bikes (but have looked them over and seen them perform), no he doesn't have a 3' screwdriver.... Look up Seth Starnes if you want to try a class but not sure you want to "invest" in building a bike... Ba ha ha.

Very cool idea for sure! Maybe Broome will let me do a few laps on his 1299 so I know if I really want it or not...yeah right good luck.

 

That is a great idea... We can all take turns riding his Duc and let him know if it was a good investment or not....
