Recomend me a decent straw hat

So I don't get sunburnt, but ventilates well.

I sweat a lot and it bugs the shit out of me when I get sunscreen runoff in my eyes.

 

I got one from Kool Breeze that has a solar powered fan. It's decent.

 

Dorfman Pacific . Not straw but great hats for sun protection. Using them for about 15 years.

 

I've just picked my last couple up at Walmart.

 

Boonie hat. Good enough for GI's, good enough for me.

 

This is what I roll with to protect my bald ass head when I’m out in the sun working in the yard. Has held up well compared to the el cheapo straw hats out there.

In the case you want to float down a river with a chainsaw, I recommend something like this.

If you wore something like this would you be accused of "cultural appropriation"??
It seems like it might keep your head a little cooler since it doesnt envelope the top half of your head like a western style hat does.

I spend hours out on the tractor, mowing and such. A straw hat would be ideal if it would work with ear muffs, never seen such a thing.

Why not just use foam earplugs ? That's what I do.

 

That’s viable but I know depending on length of time, I may prefer muffs.

I had ear issues due to massive blockage/wax build up from wearing plugs 5-6 hrs a day for a few weeks in a row. The amount of wax/crap the ENT pulled out was amazing.
