Re-Applying Stomp Grip

    I took the stomp grip off the tank and repainted it, now the glue will not stick. Is there and adhesive that some of you have used to reapply it? Or just quit being a cheap ass and buy new?

    I tried 3M spray adhesive but it would come off at the worst time. I finally gave up and bought new ones.

    I am thinking that is what I will do as well, but it does not hurt to ask.
