    Hey wera folks,

I’m building another Supermoto project and am wanting to use a radial brake off of a r6/cbr/gsxr/zx bike and was hoping some of you can chime in on the width of each of those calipers. I’m most worried about caliper to wheel clearance as sportbike calipers tend to be quite wide.

I’ve already got a 108mm radial bracket for a set of marzocchi Supermoto forks, hence trying to run a jap radial caliper. I’m also running marchesinis so I do have a bit more clearance than if I were to run a spoked wheel.

    thx

I tried using the Brembo that Aprilia used on the SXV and even THAT was too wide for spoked forks. For mags, maybe a middleweight caliper will work? I'll try to remember to get data from my 3rd gen R6 calipers for you tomorrow. IIRC Goldfren makes a caliper specifically for this use you might want to look into as well?

2011 oem cast brembo just under 3.2" between the raised lettering.
M4 brembo (108mm) just a hair wider than 3.2". Recessed lettering.

    TWF2 2 heads are better than 1

Those are all about same, from center of rotor to wheel side face 42mm.
