I'm mailing a transponder and to make there's nothing wrong with it, I gave 'er a full charge. Will the USPS have issues with a small device emitting an unknown radio signal?

    Thanks

If it is in the cradle it will be in the "sleep mode" no signal emitted.

take it out, plug the charger into the base, put the transpoder back in for a minute, and then unplug the chrager, but dont remove the transponder from the base. the light shouldnt come on till it's removed from the base. put a zip-tie around it to hold it in during shipping.

just incapsilate it in a 100lb block of lead. Should be good to go. :)

Incidentally, the old ones will shut off if you touch a 9-volt battery to the leads on the back... Don't leave it there, just touch it for a second or so.
