Chris, you can get the license at the track. If you're only planning to run one weekend, WERA vintage allows racers that have licenses w/ other orgs. to run one weekend w/out purchasing a license.(sort of a "try before you buy") No points will be awarded unless you purchase a license however. If you'd rather go ahead and get it now anyhow, send an e-mail to wera hq("contact us" on the home page) and they will send you the form. WERA license is all you need as there is no seperate vintage license.

You MUST mail this form to the WERA office. You can still wait until the first race, but having a license now allows you to pre-register, which is a good thing. Not that the wait for vintage registration is bad, but if you race in a (non-vintage) Sunday class it can be.

Renewals can be handled via mail or FAX. License is good for one year from date of issue, not end of calendar year like CCS.
