I've been using this HF kit. It's just okay.

I’ve had really good luck with the small autozone mityvac tool.
I use the at mityvac mv6835 work though. It’s a lot smaller than the 7400 so it pulls a vacuum quicker.

For a shop with compressed air? Buy an air bleeder. Worth the money, just gotta keep it clean. Will suck all the old fluid out in a few seconds if you're doing a flush.

My bleed kit is the cup that came with a mityvac and a better piece of tygon tubing. I always find that I manually bleed after using vacuum. So when the mityvac broke, I didn't bother to replace it.

Hand pump mityvac has always worked well for me. If bleeding a dry line was giving me issues, usually meant air leaking around the bleeder threads. A little Teflon tape seals it up. Usually take the Teflon off after I get fluid in the system just to make sure a bit doesn't tear off and block a passage. Finish off by pumping the master.

Another thing make sure the bleeders haven’t been over tightened and crushed. Makes bleeding much more difficult when the round hole get smashed flat.

I have this same bleeder. Works great and I find it absolutely handy when I want to be lazy to drain my front diff in my truck and not drop the pan...

I find that a vacuum works well for flushing fluid but I always finish bleeding by hand because its easier to see the air bubbles in the line. With a vacuum, it's hard to tell when you get all the bubbles out.

I also used Stalhbus bleeders and that was a game changer!

How did you make out John? I was in Harbor freight today and suddenly they have a huge array of fluid vacuum pumps. Even the big 1.9 gallon type..
