And here I thought it was because your ass was too cheap to buy gas to drive there. Too bad, I understand the theater ushers are union, they'd appreciate your business.
I'm anything, but cheap. I think gas is cheap compared to the 15 12oz. beers at $3.75 a pop they hit me for last night. There's no shortage on beer.
Most immigrants beyond a certain age don't become completely fluent in a second language. But their kids always do. And in the meantime they not only pay taxes but also buy products, so don't fault companies for providing services in Spanish simply because you can't speak it. And if you just want to say that you don't like immigrants or other cultures come out and say it. But don't try to pretend that it matters what language people use when they aren't talking to you. A three second wait for the Spanish portion of a voicemail message is hardly the end of the world.
Other leg humpers please take note as Brad is demonstrating excellent technique: a) not adding anything to the actual topic being discussed. b) including an insult. c) being incorrect. Since xenophobia has already been mentioned, you get bonus points for unintended irony. Nobody trolls better than you, dude.
says the canadian. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=35850 you're right. i'd be insulted if someone called me a canadian.
I don't know. Tcasby was speaking of illegals, you jumped in, and carried on. Are you speaking of illegals or not?
Me, I'd be insulted if someone said I was short, fat, ugly and stupid. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2005/09/09/sharia-protests-20050909.html But don't worry, like your posts that would have nothing to do with the topic and would therefore be genuine trolling, so I won't call you that.
Nope. The original post by Millwoodva just complained about hearing Spanish on telephone messages. I was replying to that.
Clear. I've always felt that if you are going to live somewhere, you need to learn to speak the local language, not expect them to learn yours.
Sorry. I spent four years in Germany, and the Germans were much friendly to me if I at least tried to speak German.
