Political Meltdown in Egypt...

I don't remember hearing that mentioned before, and certainly didn't think of that myself. Definitely interesting theory.

 

Wolfowitz was fairly clear about the WMD reasons...

Well before it turned out that the WMD's never existed, I saw an interview with Netanyahu on MSNBC where he clearly stated that he had a hand in "strongly lobbying the US to remove the WMD's that were the primary threat to Israeli security".

 

I can easily believe that.

What I find intriguing is the suggestion that Israel could have had a hand in fooling US intelligence. Well, that's what I read between the lines in Charles' post.
