Pirelli Tires Question

I'll be running Supercosas on my race tech/penske suspended 01 GSXR600 this weekend at Road America. I am currently signed up for 3 sprint races, GTU (30 minute), and the 5 practices that go with. this is my second race weekend, first weekend I was a solid mid-pack also ran on street supercorsas.

I'm thinking about first 2 practices on my existing tires, the new ones go on for the final practice, the GTU, and the rest of the weekend.

Given that I need to get decent life out of the tires, does it make sense to go rear- medium front-soft, as opposed to rear-soft front-supersoft that the more advanced riders recommend...the ones that go through 2 sets per weekend!

you will be fine with soft rear and supersoft front
the only time you need to run a medium rear is an endurance or street.
I have had a solo 20 and 5 sprints on one set and another solo the next weekend but don't recomened it
you will be fine for gtu and three sprints
do your first two practices on your old tires
    hope this helps

I recommend it. Ricky does well on old tires.
