    I haven't had a tire slip with Ru-Glyde either - 'they' mentioned it, so just passing along. I did notice that the paste is much slipprier (?) and seemed to work better, but I can see that stuff causing a tire to slip if placed on the wrong part of a tire or rim.

    Whatever works - proceed with knowledge and care - after all, it's only the tires.

    If you live anywhere near Pittston (Scranton/W-B) I could help you. Been mounting and balancing my own tires for about 8 years.
