Are you sure about fitting a 99-02 sv650? That's pretty undersprung for the sv. I'm 170 and they suggest around 600Lb spring. Is the length right for the sv?
Daniel Yes the shock will fit a sv (this information was provided by my suspension tuner, if you are concerned if it will, I would strongly suggest calling Penske to verify prior to purchase). However, the shock was originally installed and used on a GSXR 750...never said nor did I try and imply that is was sprung correctly for you and your SV...sorry for any misunderstanding And just to play it safe I will attempt more research and confirm the SV fitment Joe
