I have a '00 R6, and am going to paint the frame and swingarm black, I need some suggestions on the process and types of primer/paint I need. Nothing gaudy, a flat black seems to be the way to go. Any help is appreciated.

I got lots of experience with painting my bikes and believe me GixxerBlade has it right. I painted some stuff on my F3 years ago with the spray can and everyone thought it was powder coated.

I recommend Duplicolor "Bumper Black". It is a satin type of color and lays down nicely, smooth and looks very good. It also has a very good spray pattern and easy trigger. WalMart.

    Good Luck,
