Question for the iPod wizards on here... Purchased a 30GB iPod a few years ago and it worked great. I don't use iTunes. I use Anapod to manage the songs I choose from my PC's extermal hard drive. The iPod stopped working and wouldn't turn on. Diagnosis is the battery which I found it was, not cheaper, but close to cheaper in buying a brand new one. Bought a brand new 80GB iPod Classic. At first the Anapod Explorer wouldn't recognize the iPod. Thought it might be that I needed another licensed version of Anapod. Bought the Anapod Explorer Universal Edition. Anapod Explorer now recognizes the iPod and you can even drag/drop songs into the Audio tracks folder. The software appears to copy the songs. But when checking the iPod, no songs at all. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
