    serious request here...

I'm shopping for aftermarket brake rotors...

Who has them? and are you happy with them

    What brand?

Why did you get them? (eg..bent rotor, warped, worn, look cool)

Does anybody here replace rotors as part of their maintenence plan?

Where did you get them? and about how much?

What would you change if you could?

you can send me a response direct if you don't want people to know you are lurking (This means you St. John :D)

    my e-mail is: [email protected]

Ferodo has some really nice iron rotors, and the pads that go with them. Light weight, smooth application. Strong braking. They also have full-floating iron rotors for the rear brake too.

I use these because I like the feel I get from Ferodo brakes. Not grabby, but I definitely know the brakes are on! I could be wrong, but I think it's the same for a set of these as buying all new stock components.

But don't leave them out in the rain... I have one on the front of my KLR and it seems to rust overnight.

The rust won't hurt them. Old iron race discs on formula cars would rust in the day while the car sat between sessions.
