The Nissan GTR is not an incredibly sexy car (not bad, but not hot). That Guido-design GTR50 is much worse.

I don't get it. If the intent is to get a workout, the why does everyone seem to want to spend cubic ducats for carbon fiber this and titanium alloy that, and CeramicSpeed driven this? And don't get me started on the ridiculous see-and-be-seen logo infested clothing...

Why not buy a Huffy from Walmart and ride it in a sweatsuit? Unless you're really just trying to be a ninja level douche.

True story.
Took my GTI in for a state inspection yesterday. In the other bay was a nice BMW Z4.
Gall running the test on my car came back from the test drive yammering about how quick the GTI is.
Gentleman comes in to get his Z4 and she hollers "Hey you outta race him. This little car is quick.
I said, "Hey, he's lighter than me. And so is his car!"
Good round of laughter before the gentleman put me in my place. "I didn't buy this car to race, I bought it to look good!"
End of story.

What happened there?

 

WTF kind of state actually takes your car out for a test drive as part of a state inspection? I have never heard of that before.

 

Texas USED TO do it, to test the brakes, they tested all the lights, and the checked the tailpipe.

 

Texas STILL does it in Bad Air Quality regions.

 

Will be a complete and utter sales dud.
