I was busy all week and forgot all about putting my lineup in...

I feel for ya. I figured I was out of it, and forgot about lineups, and then entered that one with one eye open on my cell phone like 2 hours before race start. Guess when i'm half awake, I choose better.

 

I was so pissed when looked at my DVR Sunday and saw MotoGP. It totally slipped my mind. I've refused to watch the race yet just out of pure bitterness....

 

one of the best races of the season...better get to watching it.

 

Seriously, can one is you can't explain to me what is so hard about entering safety picks when you check the site to see your latest ranking? I tell you guys to do this multiple times every year. It still doesn't register.

 

sometimes I'll just read the email and post the number here without ever visiting the site. Then you forget, and then well, you get Rossi Kicked out of the competition.

 

OK, that, I get. But when you go check your overall ranking and total points, there's no excuse.

 

I remembered to put one in this time.

I had more than I expected, 93. But Good year everyone, and early Congrats to dsapsis!

 

I picked up 107 points in Malaysia. Order has been restored.

 

92 today, 1690 total for season. Ended up in 577th, which sounds lousy, but I am pretty sure is the best Ive done in the 6 years I've been trying.

Not that I'm Papa-skilled at this or anything, but I do think there are two keys (well three if you include always making sure you have safety bets):
1. Pick who you think will win, not who you want to win;
2. Pay attention to the downcard. Those small point scores add up.

Oh - and great race! Going to be a long off-season.

 

Paying attention to the small points is how I started doing a lot better a couple of years ago. They make all the difference when the podium is predictable.

1748 points total, 134th overall. I was hoping for top 100 but I had about stretch and got back into the triple-digit rankings.

Still, pay me my moneyz, bitches! Oh, wait, I was totally relaxed all year, I must not have been playing for money…
