I hate lobbyists as much as the next guy but I have to admit that those for both AMA's (Motorcycle and Model Aeronautics) have advocated for my rights, and saved them, on several occasions.

 

Good point. The AMA (bike) fought against ethanol mandates and closing of public lands with some success.
