I grew up on southern rock and still listen to ABB and Marshall Tucker.

    Sad day for music lovers

I'm originally from Spartanburg, SC so Marshall Tucker was our hometown band, but the Allman Bros and Wet Wille played in the area all the time.

Allmans were great live and it's hard to beat those dual lead guitars

Got the good fortune to seen him quite a few times. And every episode of Top Gear was a reminder of how they reached audiences not traditionally associated with Southern music.
Have few friends/family in the Jax music scene and the Southern rock guys really give back to the communities they live in.

I went to wallpaper a old guys house once and saw gold and platinum records all over one wall. It was was Steve and Cassie Gaines dad and Steve's daughter Corrina loving there.
