By the looks of the car and the bicycle he is extremely lucky if all he suffered were bruises. Look at the damn fender and roof of the car! The bicycle is taco'd. If the front corner of that fender is damaged from Nick's body he's hurt. Ouch

WTF is going on with those bicycle training accidents. Chris Froome was hit a few days ago. And there was another one I can't recall at the moment.

 

All I can say about the photo of the damage on the car is that "it's a Peugeot." Those things look like that in a lot of cases off the showroom floor.

I'm hoping that all the news sites are pumping it up to get hits.

 

The same thing that always happens when you put 2 entities of vastly dissimilar mass on the square inch of dirt. The lighter, spandex covered entity loses.

May be a junk car but that looks like a head on crash between a car and a bicycle on a straight road. Prayers for Nicky, he's one of the good guys.

I apologize. I didn't see the pictures and based on some of the other posts I thought Nicky was posting online after the incident. I realize now that probably wasn't the case.
