Been there. It is tough. My dad was in ICU fighting for his life in Rio after the crew change bus crashed and tumbled down an embankment. I was stuck in Africa. My dad is my best friend. That was one of the worst, most helpless feelings in the world.

I can't imagine what Mr. Earl is going through.

I just wish I could go through a corner like that just once. It would probably scare the shit out of me but damn it looks cool!

 

Stoner corner is a left hander at Philip Island (T3 to be specific).

This is that double apex right at Sepang (T7 & 8) That everyone slides through.

Funny thing is when you are watching it in live motion on TV it doesn't look nearly that hair raising or like they are sliding the bike like crazy through the corner. I think its just really great photography work.
