Need Tires!

    Well, might as well put it over here too.

    Anyone have/can find 110/70 17's front and 150/60 or 70 17 rear (Bridgestone, Metzler, Pirelli, Avon) please contact me immediately.

    I need to hit 1000 before I leave this place tomorrow. I don't see any more BBS days in my future, only logins from home at night. It's definately worth it if I love my job!!

    Move along people, this is MY thread [​IMG]

    I found some Dunlop 205's but not quite the size i have on...guess they'll just have to do for this weekend.

    Also found some Metzlers on MAW's website on closeout, might just get a set of those anyway.

    Try a set of Bridgestone BT-96's from Stickboy. You won't find the 96's in the big part whorehouses because you can only buy them from a race tire distributor. I've been using the 110/70-17 and 140/70-17 on my Skorpion with 3.0 inch and 4.0 inch rims with good success. Big plus, they're only $225 a pair.

    I second the nomination for the BT96's and Stickboy, too!

    Like Bruce "the GS defector" said, he's been using them with good success. You have some wins don't ya Bruce?

    They also last a good while. I got 6 hrs of endurance racing, 1 1/2 sprint races, and a few practices out of my last set.
