I cannot see this going well https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...-guns-rejects-ad-showing-semiautomatic-rifle/
NAPCARS ratings have been dropping for a while now. I can't remember the last time I watched more than a lap or two even as a sleep aid.
You go on Twiiter and twat to your 13 followers that you will NEVER watch NASCAR again and you demand that they don't as well. Wait, that's if they allowed gun ads.
Rednecks, the largest contingent of the gun toting populace, have now been betrayed by their favorite store and favorite entertainment outlet in the space of a week. What's next, Ford releases statement asking that their vehicles be "gun free" zones? But more to the point, why does an auto racing sanctioning body feel the need to virtue signal?
This years Bristol night race was The Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race .We will see what it is called next year.
I watch the last 3 laps for the destruction derby. We have a local one that races busses, cars with trailers in a figure eight. Shits wild and they cant get anymore people sat down to watch the thing!
Harvick was pretty impressive yesterday, thought the 400 was more exciting than the snooze fest at Monza earlier in the day.
Well IMS does have a permanent seating capacity over 225K. But yeah when I flipped around channels and seen it, it was pretty sparse. Last time we went to Chicagoland Speedway it wasn't that full either. Guy at work went to Darlington the week before and said even there was not packed. That place used to be get tickets a year or two in advance.
