 So.... I lowsided my first race, first lap 2nd turn. I had just taken the lead and the front end decided to slide out. I had them on the warmers all morning, had the pressures set and I was even practicing riding at race pace out of pit out all day saturday/sunday morning and the bike was fine. W/e. What happened happened. Ill rebuild and go back out to show what im really made of. This was Am GTO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JxOFR51yow Im a noob at embeding
Gonna leave the thread up this time? I saw you posted this earlier then deleted it, then went & checked out the forum rules thread. I think you're safe..... it's almost racing related.
Looks like you ran out of tire or skill. I usually run out of one or the other. Chin up! At least you are able to talk about it. Winners rebuild and learn, whiners go home.
Do download search for a video edit program, so you can edit out the 5 minutes of standing on the grid and laying in the grass, and shave it down to the 5 seconds of racing Just sayin
Dang I think you over did it. Usually I let someone lead at the first lap and then attack on the second if I think I can pull a better pace than him/her. Fix it up and keep on racing.
Almost looks like you were kinda slow to get to the apex and the guy who you just passed mighta nudged ya to get you moving along! Any rubber on the left side of the swingarm?
Haha. I just wanted to make sure LOL I had practiced saturday coming out of pit out and going at a race-ish pace to simulate a race start and everything was fine then.... dont know what happened I couldnt be any happier with my start. My drag racing ventures paid off lol My GoPro came in very handy. I even recorded all of my practice sessions.
Looked to me like your trajectory was off and you were going to run wide anyway.... As for the crash..... you crashed. :tut: Take your time.....next time....
Yea looks like you were pushing it wide and tried to force it back onto the raceline. Just curious, what tires?
