I have opened up a MX track in Taylors, SC. So anybody in the area that wants to get some training in the off season come on by. The web site is www.lakesidemx.net it has all the information on the web site.

    Thanks, Norm

If we show our WERA license, do we get a discount?

Who is this Scott? If it is, for you.......2 dollars off, that sound good! But if we are on the track at the same time you can't try to push me down on the cool down lap!!

Whats does the track consist of?

I may have to make a road trip in the winter if it gets too cold here.

    Freaking winter sucks.

If we show our WERA license, can we borrow/rent a dirty bike if we don't have one :D

1.6 mile motocross track with 7 doubles, 1 step up, 1 table top, 4 ski jumps, many elevation changes and sweeping corners. It gets cool here, but very rarely gets cold, for long anyway. Come on down the weathers fine.

Hang around the track long enough and someone will let you ride something. You may not want to ride it though.

The greatest threat to the health and well-being of a road racer, is a motocross bike.

    Yes they do.

Mountain bikes are next, followed by roadbikes and then any mini bike.

I agree with you John, but it's sooo fun,
and cheap compared to Road racing.

Getting banged up and sore is just part of it.

I've been on an MX bike so long don't even know if I can ride a sportbike at speed anymore?

...especially when it's flying over jumps on a motocross track.

    (I concede the fun part.)

So do you let your riders go play on dirty bikes?

I'm getting older. I seem to like tabletops.
Doubles are what can hurt ya.

Supermoto is fun but you tend to not go down as much,
but if you do ouch thats some hard ground.

Yeah. Most of them are adults.

According to the government that is, I don't know many racers that are truly adults

    :D
