I'm cleaning up some early '90's exhausts for a couple projects I'm working on and have a couple quesions.

I drilled out the rivets on the D&D and pulled off the metal emblem when I was polishing up the can. There was some kind of adhesive on it so I had to pry it off with a screwdriver. I'm worried that if I just rivet the emblem back on, it will rattle. Any suggestions on what to use to "stick" the emblem back on?

I have 2 Yoshimura cans. The have the same straps only one had a material kind of like a header wrap it in, and the other was bare. The first time I mounted one of them with the bare strap, I got a little careless and scratched the can a little. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this is and where to source it?

See pics below for reference. Thanks!
